Are you open all year?
We are closed between Christmas and New Years. Many of our programs have a break over the school holidays. Check with our reception staff for more details.
How do I book into a course or event?
Some events and activities are to be booked directly with the organising group and others are booked directly with VRCC – please check the What’s On, the Computer Classes or the Senior Citizens Club page for relevant contact details for each activity.
How do I pay for my course?
Payments for computer courses are made directly to VRCC. A 25% deposit is required to confirm your place and Instalment payments can be arranged.

Some events and activities are to be booked directly with the organising group – please check the What’s On, the Computer Classes or the Senior Citizens Club page for relevant contact details for each activity.
How do you price the courses?
We keep all course fees to a minimum to encourage the community to take part in them.
What happens if you cancel a planned course?
If you have paid a deposit or full payment for a course and it is cancelled by us we will refund your payment.
Why do some of your advertised courses not run?
By keeping fees so low it means that we do need a minimum number of enrolments to cover our costs and to ensure each course proceeds. Starting dates are planned and advertised with aim of getting sufficient students to cover our costs. We are reluctant to cancel any planned course and try to provide another course as soon as possible.
Do your course fees change?
Course fees are correct at the time of publication but circumstances may require us to alter them so please confirm course fee when enrolling.
Do you get funding?
Some of our courses are funded by Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) and are usually marked with the Learn Local logo. These course costs are determined by Ministerial Direction and are made up of a tuition fee with the balance charged as a student amenities fee to cover the cost of providing such items as course manuals.
I can teach a subject!
Great we are always looking for new topics which may be of interest to our community. Please contact us to let us know. About mid-term we organise the program for the next term so it can be promoted beforehand.
Can any person or group book an event at the Centre?
